THE FOLLOWING IS A RELEASE FROM STATE REP KIFOWIT’S OFFICE
AURORA, IL — December 3, 2025 — U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, State Representative Stephanie Kifowit, is honored to announce that she will serve as the guest speaker at this year’s Wreaths Across America ceremony at Danville National Cemetery on Friday, December 13th, at 11:00 a.m.
Wreaths Across America is a cherished annual tradition dedicated to honoring the service, sacrifice, and memory of America’s fallen heroes. Each December, volunteers gather at thousands of locations nationwide to lay wreaths at veterans’ graves, ensuring that no service member is ever forgotten.
“As a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, it is a profound privilege to stand beside our community as we honor all who wore the uniform before us and those who never made it home,” said Representative Kifowit. “Every wreath we place represents a life lived with courage, duty, and devotion to our nation. It’s a powerful reminder that our military brothers and sisters are never forgotten as long as we continue to speak their names and honor their memory.”

The event is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend and participate in the wreath-laying ceremony following the program. Veterans, families, volunteers, and local organizations will come together to reflect, remember, and pay tribute to those who have served with honor.
