Be on the lookout for some special Danville Fire Department training this week. Tuesday, December 16th and Wednesday, December 17th; Danville firefighters will be joining firefighters from other departments for some advanced fire ground training in the 500 blocks of Chandler and Grant Streets. This training will be provided by Soda City Training from South Carolina.
Then; Thursday, December 18th; Danville Firefighters will be doing live fire training at 1008 North Jackson Street. This training will be for new recruits attending the Champaign Fire Academy, and the training is required by the State of Illinois.
