DANVILLE — When it comes to holiday gifts, Sue Owens of rural Danville isn’t hard to shop for. But you may run into trouble finding a version of her favorite collectible that she doesn’t already own.
It takes just a few steps into her kitchen to see all the decorative towels she has on display for the holidays. They’re above her sink and stored elsewhere, according to themes, in bins.
As of earlier this month, she had 315 dish towels or tea towels. Tea towels usually are thinner and more decorative.
Christmas is the most popular theme, with 67 of them having to do with that holiday.
The others feature other holidays, different seasons and travel locations.
