DANVILLE — The Danville Area Community College Board of Trustees will meet in special session Monday night to consider approving a resolution to censure a board member.
The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Vermilion Hall, Room 302, at the college, 2000 E. Main St.
The agenda released Thursday states the board plans to go into closed session to discuss matters pertaining to “the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body and approval of the written closed session minutes dated Nov. 20, 2025.
DACC President Randy Fletcher and Board Chairman Greg Wolfe said they couldn’t talk about the matter, and a detailed press release will be issued at the end of Monday’s meeting.
Fletcher said a board evaluation also has come up and it’s the board’s intention to conduct a board self-evaluation Monday, in or out of closed session. They have invited an Illinois Community College Trustees Association representative to the meeting.
