Danville District 118 has stated that a phone threat was received prior to the start of the school day today (Thursday, January 8th), and that the Danville Police Department was notified immediately.
District 118 says the individual responsible was quickly located, and apprehended prior to the start of the school day. A letter released by the district expressed thanks to the Danville Police Department for their quick action and continued partnership with the district.
