Danville, Illinois – The Vermilion Advantage Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Susan Brown, M.Ed., CFRM, as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Vermilion Advantage. She will officially begin her role on June 3, 2026.
Amy brings over 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, economic development, and community engagement. She has held transformative leadership roles at organizations such as Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club, CRIS Healthy Aging, and CRIS Transit. Notably, Amy was the founding CEO of Project Success Serving Vermilion County Schools, where she worked alongside the original board of directors to grow the organization into a vital resource for K-12 students across twelve school districts. Her career is marked by a proven track record of securing sustainable funding, launching innovative programs, and fostering collaborative partnerships to drive economic growth and community impact.
