THE FOLLOWING IS A KEEP VERMILION COUNTY BEAUTIFUL RELEASE
DANVILLE, IL — Keep Vermilion County Beautiful (KVCB) invites local residents, students, and civic groups to join a community-wide clean-up event at Danville Area Community College (DACC) on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The event will kick off at 10:00 AM, with volunteers meeting in the DACC semi parking lot near the “Pride Grow” trailer.
This year’s clean-up serves a dual purpose: maintaining the natural beauty of the campus and preparing the grounds to welcome thousands of visitors for the NJCAA Men’s Division II National Basketball Tournament, which begins the following Monday, March 16.

“This is a great opportunity for our community to come out and make a very visible impact,” says the KVCB team. “We want our city and campus to look their best as we step into the national spotlight for the tournament.
