In Wednesday’s final NJCAA Division II Tournament game at Danville Area Community College’s Mary Miller Gymnasium, DACC’s Jaguars treated their home fans to a 72-53 win over #2 seed Palm Beach State. DACC will now play in the 8 PM Friday semi-final game against the winner of Thursday’s 7 PM quarterfinal game between Parkland College and #3 seed Milwaukee Area Tech.
Wednesday’s earlier quarterfinal game was also an upset, with Ellsworth knocking off top seeded Des Moines Area.
Thursday’s games will begin at 12 Noon; with consolation bracket games involving Lansing and South Suburban, and SUNY-Orange County and Mid Michigan. The other quarterfinal game will be at 5 PM, between #4 seed Pima and Iowa Central.
The championship game will be Saturday night at 7 PM.
