The NJCAA Division II Tournament at Danville Area Community College is wide open as ever, with ALL FOUR TOP SEEDS having lost quarterfinal games during Wednesday and Thursday evening sessions.
On Thursday, #4 seed Pima lost to #5 seed Iowa Central 78-77; followed by #3 seed Milwaukee Area Tech losing to #11 seed Parkland College out of Champaign 92-79.

This followed Wednesday’s action; where top seed Des Moines Area lost to #8 seed Ellsworth, and host #7 seed Danville Area Community College had their 72-53 win over #2 seed Palm Beach State.
Friday’s final game at DACC’s Mary Miller Gymnasium will be the 8 PM semi-final game between Parkland and DACC. It will be their fourth matchup this season; with DACC having won twice during the regular season, but Parkland winning the Region 24 championship game on DACC’s home floor.
The 6 PM semi-final will be Ellsworth vs Iowa Central.
The top four seeds are now in the fifth place bracket games; with Pima facing Palm Beach State at 1 PM, and Des Moines Area facing Milwaukee Area Tech at 3 PM.
9 AM and 11 AM consolation bracket games will also be played on Friday.
Saturday’s schedule will be the 7th place game at Noon, the 5th place game at 2 PM, the third place game at 5 PM, and the Championship Game at 7 PM.
