Representative Commons is a social studies teacher. The legislation received broad support from educators and administrators.
State Representative Joanna King of Middlebury co-authored a new law strengthening social media protections for youth. It gives parents the ability to better monitor social media activity and restrict certain addictive or harmful features for children under the age of sixteen.
