THE FOLLOWING IS A TRICIA TEAGUE FOR MAYOR RELEASE
Danville Alderwoman to hold announcement event Monday, May 4
Danville Alderwoman and business owner Tricia Teague is set to officially announce her campaign for Mayor of Danville on Monday, May 4 at 6 p.m. at Soar Space Business Center, 2 E. Main St., Suite 36 (inside Towne Centre/Riverfront Plaza).
The event flyer hails Teague as a “change agent” and invites the public to “join the movement.” The campaign website, www.change4danville.com, indicates Teague has a 12-point plan for the city, which includes economic development topics like business retention and attraction, housing, remote worker recruitment, and small business development and support.

Teague says she’s running because she wants to reverse Danville’s decline. “It’s going to take out of the box thinking and bold actions to grow our city. As an entrepreneur, I know about thinking outside the box.”
Former Alderwoman Brenda Brown is also scheduled to speak to endorse Teague. “Brenda Brown has been the most influential person in my decision to get involved in local government. I am honored to have her support,” Teague said.
The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
