THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
I know that many have already seen the damage we took on at Lincoln Park, Friendly Town, and homes in that area following the recent storms. It looks bad but we are working on it as fast as we can to get it back and even better. Crews are out there now. We are thankful that even with the damage there were no injuries.
Unfortunately, the Children’s Summer Safety Class for June 22-25th are cancelled. Those affected will be contacted to see how and when we can reschedule the kids to other weeks this summer. Expect an email or call for possible rescheduling on Monday, June 22. We anticipate that these classes will resume the following week through the end of summer.
The Adult CPR Classes for June 26th and 27th are still on as scheduled. There was no damage to the main building. Please be careful and park away from any work trucks and equipment if present when you arrive. Street parking is recommended as there will be work crews in an out of Lincoln Park and we may have to restrict parking to the street or nearby lots.
