Right around 4:30 Thursday (July 23rd) afternoon, Danville’s Seven Point of Illinois Cannabis Dispensary conducted what’s proclaimed as the State of Illinois’ first ever drive-thru window transaction at a dispensary. For CEO Brad Zerman, this has been the plan all along, so the window was included when the building went up. And now, just get your order in online, and Zerman says it will be ready.
AUDIO: You can just go to www.sevenpoint.org, and place your order; and then just roll up and pick up your order. You can pay for it at the window, or you could pay for it online before you come in. You know, over 50% of our orders are online anyway; so all those people are like totally available to come pick up their orders this way, or in the store.

And not only that, the Seven Point Kitchen food truck is on site and scheduled for opening sometime next month. Zerman says you’ll be able to get hot food there to take home, eat outside, or eat in their Smoke Lab Lounge. But you’ll also be able to get sandwiches and a certain beverage at the drive-thru.
AUDIO: We’re also going to make cold sandwiches that we could store in a refrigerator in the drive-up booth. Like turkey, roast beef, maybe ham sandwiches; on Einstein Bros Bagels. And then, we’re going to start selling Mad Goat Coffee out of the window and the food truck soon.
The Seven Point of Illinois Dispensary is at 380 Eastgate Drive in Danville, along the west side of Lynch Road.
