Once again, for the fourth straight year, Danville Area Community College welcomed families for some fun, food, books and clothing; and anything you might be thinking about heading into the new school year. DACC’s 4th Annual Block Party was in their main parking lot off Main Street from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday evening.
One of the tables was stationed by City of Danville Community Relations Administrator Rheanna Pierce, along with Community Relations Coordinator Macy Davis. Pierce said, yes, this is a busy week for her and Macy Davis; as they’ve also got Friday’s FIRST FRIDAYS event, “Science in the City;” where they will be joined by DACC.

And Friday we’ll be in Downtown Danville for “Science in the City.” We’ll have an exotic betting zoo, we have a live band; we do have DACC there doing a fun science experiment, all sorts of things to get kids excited
