Danville, August 25, 2026 – Boiling Springs Road
The City of Danville would like to announce that Stage I of the Boiling Springs Road reconstruction project will begin August 31, 2026, weather permitting.
Beginning August 31, Boiling Springs Road will be closed to all traffic from the east entrance of Crestwood Circle Drive to just west of Lowe’s.
Detour Information
The designated detour route is in place. All traffic accessing Boiling Springs Road should enter from West Lake Boulevard.
• Addresses east of Pershing Street: Please use Tuttle Street to access the area.
• Addresses west of Pershing Street: Please use Illini Avenue to access the area.

Garbage Collection
Due to construction activities and limited access in the area, the City of Danville asks residents to place their garbage toters at the curb by 6:30 a.m. on their scheduled collection day.
