THE FOLLOWING IS A KEEP VERMILION COUNTY BEAUTIFUL RELEASE
DANVILLE, Il. — Keep Vermilion County Beautiful (KVCB) is inviting community members to lend a hand at the Ellsworth Park Fall Festival Clean Up on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Volunteers will meet at Ellsworth Park and spend the morning picking up litter and helping get the park ready for the Fall Festival. Cleanup supplies will be provided, and volunteers are encouraged to bring friends, family members and coworkers.
Pizza will be provided for volunteers at 11:30 a.m. following the cleanup.
“Events like this are a simple way for people to make a visible difference in our community,” said Katie Osterbur, President of Keep Vermilion County Beautiful. “An hour or two of our time can make a big impact, and it’s always great to see people come together and take pride in the places we all share.”
No advance experience is needed, and community members are welcome to join for all or part of the cleanup.
