DANVILLE, Ill. — The Vermilion County Republicans will hold a community coat drive on Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in front of Premier Appraisal, located at 40 N. Vermilion Street in Danville.
The drive will benefit Fair Hope Children’s Ministry, which distributed 1,002 winter coats last year to those in need.
The Vermilion County Republicans invite the community to help keep local children warm this winter by donating new or gently used winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, boots, snow pants and blankets. Children’s and teen sizes are especially needed.
Every donated item will be given to Fair Hope Children’s Ministry for distribution.
