THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
Danville, October 20, 2026 – Boiling Springs Road The beginning of Stage 3B Construction on Boiling Springs Road starts Thursday October 22, 2026, weather permitting. Boiling Springs will be closed to all traffic from 75 feet east of Pershing Street to 45 feet east of the centerline of Bayview Drive. Due to the construction activities, The City of Danville would like to request that all garbage toters are at the curb at 6:30 the morning of garbage pickup. Traffic Access and Detour Information
• Tuttle Street and all side streets east of Tuttle Street will continue to have access to Boiling Springs Road, with traffic traveling east toward N. Vermilion Street.
• Bayview Drive will continue to the designated detour route. Motorists should travel from Illini Drive to Lake Boulevard, then east to N. Vermilion Street.
• Stage 3B is identified in Teal on the construction map.
