THE FOLLOWING IS A TOYS FOR TOTS RELEASE
DANVILLE, Ill. — One community. One toy at a time. Vermilion County Toys for Tots is inviting residents, businesses, and community groups to help fill trucks with new, unwrapped toys and bring Christmas joy to local children.
The “Fill a Truck. Share the Magic.” toy drive will take place every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday throughout November 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Courtesy Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Ram, 231 West Main Street in Danville.
Weather permitting, local Marines and volunteers will welcome donors outside, where collection boxes in the beds of trucks will be ready to fill. The drive-up format makes giving easy: bring a new, unwrapped toy, drop it off, and continue with your day. Visitors are also welcome to stop, say hello, and thank the Marines for their service.

Donors who cannot visit during the outdoor collection hours can bring toys into the dealership’s new car showroom after 2 p.m., during dealership business hours.
The community is encouraged to participate individually or organize collections through workplaces, churches, schools, and neighborhood groups. Every donated toy helps make the holiday season brighter for a child in Vermilion County.
The toy drive is held in loving memory of John Zarn and Megan Montgomery.
Come as a neighbor. Give a little joy. Together, we can fill the trucks and share the magic of Christmas.
