RANTOUL — Mayor Sam Hall III said the decision to dismiss Village Administrator Scott Eisenhauer was a difficult one, but he declined to explain what prompted the move.
In a written response to The News-Gazette on Wednesday, Hall cited the confidentiality of personnel matters.
“The decision to end Scott Eisenhauer’s employment was not an easy one, nor was it made lightly,” Hall said. “I recognize his years of service and contributions to the village of Rantoul.”
Eisenhauer, 61, was relieved of his duties Monday after serving as village administrator since 2018.
