THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce the closure of Harrison Street as part of the Downtown Revitalization Phase 1 construction project. Beginning at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2024, there will be a complete roadway closure of Harrison Street between Vermilion Street and Hazel Street.
It is anticipated that the roadway will reopen by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Vermilion County employee parking lots may be accessed from Hazel Street and Madison Street during this time. Please choose an alternate route to avoid delays. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution while traveling near the roadway closure corridor.
