THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce a roadway closure to thru traffic on Seminary Street from North Washington Avenue to Anderson Street. Northfolk Southern Railroad will be performing maintenance and repairs on the railroad overpass east of Junction Avenue requiring a
complete roadway closure at this location.
Seminary Street closure will begin on Sunday, September 22, 2024, and go through Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Roadway barricades, Road Closed, and Detour signage will be in place directing traffic to West Williams Street. Motorists should use caution around the work zone and
choose an alternate route.
