THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION ADVANTAGE RELEASE
Danville, IL – Vermilion Advantage is proud to announce that “The Consult,” a resource for Vermilion County small business owners, will be taking on an exciting new direction starting this November. Designed as a monthly gathering, “The Consult” provides local entrepreneurs with valuable support, including strategic advice, networking, and real-time problem-solving in a relaxed, pressure-free environment. There are no sales pitches—just a community of experienced businesspeople offering their insights and expertise to help small businesses thrive. Best of all, this program is entirely free and open to all Vermilion County business owners, regardless of membership with Vermilion Advantage.
In partnership with Peter Blackmon and Annie Monyok, Vermilion Advantage will take over the sponsorship and leadership of “The Consult” to continue its mission of supporting local small businesses. Due to the transition, the program will take October off to prepare for the relaunch, which is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
The program will now be hosted at Monyok Leadership, located at 801 W Fairchild Street, on the first Wednesday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This new location and sponsorship bring renewed energy and resources, allowing “The Consult” to grow and reach even more small business owners across the county. Vermilion Advantage extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Danville Library Foundation, which originally launched the program at the Danville Public Library. Their dedication and support in establishing “The Consult” were instrumental, and Vermilion Advantage is eager to build on this foundation.
“Vermilion Advantage is thrilled to step in as the sponsor for ‘The Consult,’ ensuring that this vital program remains a steadfast resource for our small business community,” said Mike Marron, CEO of Vermilion Advantage. “We recognize the importance of offering accessible, high-quality advice and networking opportunities to help our local entrepreneurs grow and thrive. This transition to Monyok Leadership marks an exciting new chapter, and we look forward to continuing our work with Peter, Annie, and our community partners to empower Vermilion County businesses.”
“We believe in the power of local business,” Marron added. “Our commitment to supporting small business owners remains unwavering, and this sponsorship is just one more way Vermilion Advantage is invested in building a thriving, successful Vermilion County. A rising tide lifts all boats, and we know that by working together, we can create more opportunities for growth and prosperity.”
