The Danville Area Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to consider three petitions at its April 2nd meeting, including one requesting a parking variance for a new Dollar General Store. The other two are a request to rezone property for the new Carle at the Riverfront Project, and one to allow for office space and a showroom at 200 West Williams Street.
The new Dollar General Store is proposed at the southeast corner of Bowman and Crestview. The petitioner is seeking to have fewer parking spaces than what would be normally required.
Jake Freeman/Secured Properties LLC is requesting rezoning of property in the 200 block of West Williams for office space and a showroom.
The request to rezone property for the new Carle at the Riverfront Project (shown in photo) comes as work continues to prepare the site for that project.
The Planning and Zoning Commission meets at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd at the Robert E. Jones Municipal Building.
