The groundbreaking for the future Sonic and Jimmy John’s in Danville was recently held at the northwest corner of Vermilion and Fairchild. And if you’ve driven by recently, it’s obvious they are off to a roaring start. City engineer for Danville Eric Childers says so far, so good.
AUDIO: It is my understanding that, yes, they’re right on schedule. They were starting the civil work; which is all the earth work. And they’ll be installing the underground storage containers, as part of the storm water management.
The future Sonic and Jimmy John’s at North Vermilion and Fairchild are both scheduled to have drive-thrus and outdoor patios.
