THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE NOON ROTARY RELEASE
Monday, October 28, 2024- Danville Noon Rotary welcomed Ryan Campbell, Executive Director Habitat for Humanity in Danville. Mr Campbell spoke about the 10,000 sq ft addition to the Habitat ReStore. Additional warehouse space and renovations were needed after the building was damaged by fire in October of 2022. They held a grand opening on October 1 to showcase the renovation for the community. ReStore, accepts donations of secondhand furniture, appliances, home goods and decor, building materials, tools and other items, to support home construction and renovation projects.

They presently are not accepting applications but look forward to serving families again in 2025 and anticipate that there will be a wait list. Habitat for Humanity is always seeking volunteers to paint, do yard work and help sort through donations. They have built seventeen homes so far and work to educate owners on financing.
The next meeting will be Monday, November 4 with guest speaker Laura Floyd of the Danville YMCA. Danville Noon Rotary would like to welcome everyone!
