Thursday, October 24, 2024- It was a full house at the Danville Country Club for the announcement of the Gill Garman Fellowship Award. One of the finest fellowship speakers to take the podium at the Danville Rotary Club, Mr. Garman was popular for his unique wit which made him a frequently requested speaker and emcee. Fellowship is an important aspect of Rotary and this award is intended for a Rotarian who best exemplifies these ideals.
The Noon Rotary was proud to present the 2024 Gill Garman Fellowship Award to Mr. Rick Rotramel. Rick started with the Danville Rotary Club in October of 2000. He served as Club President from 2006-2007. He is the Chair of Rotary’s Memorial Way Project. Rick was nominated and selected to receive this award due to his funny sense of humor, and reading the “facts” from his hometown newspaper for fellowship. Rick is a true Rotarian through and through.
