This coming Thursday, on Thanksgiving Day, it will be the third straight year for a Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Hightower Family Fellowship Center. Pastor Tom Hightower says this year they want to bring in a record crowd for this event at 140 South Crawford in Danville.
AUDIO: The first year we fed 250. The second year we were at 300. We’re shooting for 500. That’s a hard number, but thanks to the community and our sponsors throughout the community, we’re making an effort. And we’re going to do it.
Tom Hightower is Pastor of the Hightower Family Fellowship Center. They’ll be serving their third consecutive Community Thanksgiving Dinner, 10 AM to 6 PM Thanksgiving Day, at 140 South Crawford in Danville.
Hightower says they’ll be serving 10 AM to 6 PM on Thanksgiving Day. And you’ll find a complete Thanksgiving menu.
AUDIO: It’s a full Thanksgiving with turkey, ham, dressing; everything. For the community; it’s free. If you don’t have a ride, we’ll pick you up. If you want it delivered, we’ll deliver your meal.
