THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce that road work in the 600 Block of N. Vermilion St will begin Monday, December 2nd, 2024, and weather permitting, is scheduled to be completed by Friday, December 13th, 2024.
During this time, one northbound lane and one southbound lane of N. Vermilion St from Clay St to Williams St will be closed, leaving one lane of travel in each direction. Additionally, E. Davis St. will be closed to through traffic from Vermilion St. to Hazel St.
This work will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, December 2nd, 2024. This closure will affect motorists traveling north through the above specified lane closure.
Please choose an alternate route to avoid delays. There will be a high volume of construction traffic during operations. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution while traveling in the work zone and be attentive to the changes in traffic control.
All these events are tentatively scheduled, weather permitting.
