THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce that road repairs on E. Williams St. between Bremer Ave. and National Ave. will begin the morning of Monday, December 9, 2024, and weather permitting, is scheduled to be completed by the end of the day Thursday, December 12, 2024.
During this time, the eastbound lane of E. Williams St. between the aforementioned intersections and both lanes of State St. from Main St. to E. Williams St. will be closed to all traffic.
This work will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2024. This closure will affect motorists traveling east on E. Williams St. between Bremer Ave. and National Ave. and both directions of travel on State St. between Main St. and E. Williams St.
Please choose an alternate route. There will be a high volume of construction traffic during operations. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution while traveling near the work zone.
All these events are tentatively scheduled, weather permitting.
