Going on today (Wed Dec 18th) and into tomorrow morning (Thurs Dec 19th) is the Danville Toys for Tots distribution at St. James United Methodist Church. Families that are signed up in the Danville and Vermilion County area, as well as Fountain and Warren Counties in Indiana, can stop by and pick up their donated presents for the holiday season.
Local coordinator Megan Montgomery says, with the increased registration being done online, there are more families signed up this year.

AUDIO: Donations are real slow this year. We have about 3,000 kids. Last year, we had about 1,200. The foundation has issued the edict to do it online, but they still have to bring the same documentation as if they did it in person; and so, that’s what they’re doing.
Distribution was scheduled for 8 AM to 4:30 PM Wednesday, and 8 AM to 11:30 AM Thursday
