Pastor LeStan Hoskins from Danville’s Mosaic City Church says Monday (Jan 7th) morning’s “Donuts on the Go” event at Royal Donut will be the first of many activities in 2025 under the church’s new MEN MATTER MOVEMENT. Pastor LeStan says there are lots of fathers doing a good job mentoring our kids, but many more are needed.
AUDIO: Seeing a lot of fatherless children in our school district, and even in the community; and just seeing the need for fathers, father figures, and male mentors. Just to kind of step up; so this is a new year, and maybe fathers, men in the community, haven’t done the best that they could’ve done. So, with this movement, we want to provide on opportunity; where fathers and father figures and male mentors can get involved.

So fathers and mentors are invited to stop by Royal Donut with their youngsters on their way to school Monday morning, between 7 and 8:45 AM. A free donut and carton of milk will be waiting for you; and Pastor LeStan says, keep your eyes and ears open for more events this year, as the MEN MATTER MOVEMENT picks up steam.
AUDIO: Skating, events at the park when the weather’s nice, movie nights. If they are doing it, we want to encourage them to continue doing a great job. If they haven’t been doing such a great job, we want to encourage them to say “hey, this is a whole new year.”
