Wreaths Across AmericaTM Day To Honor Veterans at National Cemetery and Over 4,900+ Participating Locations Nationwide
On Saturday January 18th, 2025 at 11am members of the Danville community will gather together to honor veterans during the holiday season as part of the annual Wreaths Across America Wreath Retirement.
We placed 4,404 wreaths, this year. There are 11,816 currently interred at Danville National Cemetery. So help is needed for fundraising for 2025. Our goal is to cover the whole cemetery with wreaths. Any one with ideas can contact Tammy Williams with contact information below.
Wreaths across America TM (WAA) is a national nonprofit organization founded in 2007 to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery begun by Maine businessman, Morrill Worcester, in 1992
