Danville, IL– The Vermilion County Conservation District will be hosting a four-part “Nature at Night” Educational Series at Kennekuk County Park in 2025. The first of the four programs will be “Illinois Owls” on Thursday, February 6, from 6-7:30pm.
While it may be cold outside, the winter months are a busy time for Vermilion County owls with their breeding and nesting season. This program will begin with an indoor presentation about owls and their adaptations at the Kennekuk Education Center, followed by an outdoor exploration for a chance to see or hear them.
Pre-registration is required at https://NatNOwls.eventbrite.com at $5/person, with limited registration space. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
