THE FOLLOWING IS A WESTVILLE POLICE RELEASE
On Thursday February 20, 2025 at approximately 10:53 a.m., Westville Police Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Ohio St. for a report of a male subject that had entered a neighbors residence armed with a knife.
Upon arrival officers located the suspect, identified as John P Brown Jr. at his residence. After further investigation, Brown was arrested for multiple charges including Attempted Murder and has been detained at the Danville Public Safety Building pending trial.
The public is reminded that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
