Tuesday’s Consolidated Election for the Danville City Council (according to numbers posted at 11 PM), show three new people coming to the Council. In Ward One, Jaleel Jones defeated incumbent Robert Williams 101 to 81 votes. In Ward Three, Thomas Hightower defeated incumbent Heidi Wilson 101 to 61 votes. Over in Ward Seven, where incumbent Darren York is stepping down, former Director of Public Works Doug Ahrens defeated Barry Johnson 436 to 248 votes.
