Illinois reports 1,006 new COVID-19 cases with 33 additional deaths. State health officials say 12,262 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed including 307 deaths. Jefferson and Wabash counties reported their first cases to bring the number of counties with COVID-19 to 73. The most recent deaths were in Cook, DeKalb, Lake and Will counties.
The Illinois Department of Public Health is now listing COVID-19 cases by zip code. Zip codes with fewer than five cases are not listed for privacy. The list is on the IDPH website at http://dph.illinois.gov/covid19/statistics
Illinois Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, recipients will begin receiving additional benefits starting Wednesday. The Illinois Department of Human Services says all who are eligible for the additional benefits should receive them by April 20. The maximum benefit amounts will be implemented for April and May and automatically loaded onto Link cards.

Services are on Holy Thursday at 6:30 p.m., Good Friday at 3 p.m., Holy Saturday at 8 p.m. and Easter Sunday at 10 a.m.
