Danville Firefighters doused a blaze overnight which left extensive damage to the front of a two story home. Firefighters found heavy flames and smoke coming from the front porch area of the house at 710 Grant Street when they arrived late last night.
The home is vacant. Firefighters were able to bring the flames under control in about twenty minutes.
Preliminary damage estimates are being placed at $5,000 to $10,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
