Meanwhile, Fischer Theatre Interim Director Ashton Greer has announced that three anonymous Danville families have offered a total of $30,000 in matching donations for three special Fischer projects. The families will provide up to $5,000 of matching funds to $5,000 in public donations for the theatre’s general operations. Another $5,000 plus $5,000 will go to restoring the gift shop, which is located just south of the main lobby. Then, the final $5,000 plus $5,000 opportunity will go to improvements to the Fischer concession area; which will now be named the Terry Lake Cafe, in honor of Mr. Lake’s over five-thousand volunteer hours to the Fischer.
