DANVILLE — This year’s Vermilion County Conservation District Foundation fundraiser doesn’t include the cheeseburgers featured in the past, but a lot of fun, music and food is still planned.
The first “Pack the Park” concert and event will be Saturday at the Bunker Hill Historic Area at Kennekuk County Park off Henning Road.
The Feudin’ Hillbillys will play starting at 7 p.m., with opening act Catlin Crozier. Prior to the concert, there will be a Car Show Cruise-In from 4 to 6 p.m. There also will be five food trucks serving food from 4 to 8 p.m., and a 50/50 drawing.
There’s no fee to attend, but donations are welcome at the entrance to the park. All proceeds go toward outdoor education at Kennekuk and Forest Glen Preserve.
