THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce the complete closure of the intersection of Woodlawn Avenue and Robinson Street for stormwater improvements. The closure will allow local traffic only on Robinson Street from Woodlawn Avenue to Fairlawn Avenue. The closure will begin at 7:00 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2025.
The intersection of Harmon Street and Woodlawn Avenue will be reopened prior to the closure.
It is anticipated that the streets will reopen to through traffic approximately one month after the closure. Please choose an alternate route to avoid delays. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution while traveling near the roadway closure corridors.
