THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT RELEASE
Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department Investigators have arrested 27-year-old Kaylee Broadway on charges of Grooming and Distribution of Harmful Materials to a Minor. On September 8, 2025, Westville Police Department took a report that alleged Broadway, a Westville High School teacher, had sent nude photos and videos of herself to one of her students on a social media platform. Westville Police asked the Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department to conduct the investigation.
Investigators conducted several interviews and obtained search warrants for the social media platform. Multiple electronic devices were also analyzed. During the investigation, several explicit photos and videos, sexual in nature, were discovered that supported the allegations made against Broadway. Broadway was arraigned at the Vermilion County Courthouse on October 7, 2025 and has been released on pre-trial release.
