THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION RELEASE
Danville, IL — 10/30/25 The Danville Library Foundation is excited to announce its new partnership with Newell Township to bring Little Free Libraries to the community. Jim Wilson with Newell Township will be providing the Little Free Libraries, and the Danville Library Foundation has committed to filling them with
books for the community.
The two organizations felt this outreach project worked to support the community in promoting literacy and engagement by making books accessible to all. These Little Free Libraries will function in the way of “Take a Book, Leave a Book.” Be sure to keep an eye out and visit the Little Free Library in your area!
