DANVILLE – Registration for the Spring semester is underway at Danville Area Community College, and the College is offering an incentive for scheduling classes early. Everyone who registers for a full-time class schedule (minimum 12 credit hours) before Friday, November 21, 2025, will be entered into a drawing to win one of 10 $100 County Market gift cards. The drawing will be held on Friday, Nov. 21, and winners will be notified in time to do their Thanksgiving meal shopping. Just in time for holiday shopping, a second drawing to win one of 10 $100 Meijer gift cards will be held December 17, 2025. To be eligible, you must have registered for a minimum of 12 Spring ’26 semester credit hours before December 17. Both continuing and new students are eligible.
Anyone interested in registering for classes may do so by calling 217.443.8750 for an appointment, or walk in to the Advising office, 8:00 AM to 4:00PM Monday through Friday. Appointments may also be made online at https://dacc.edu/aac/appointment-scheduling. Advising may be accomplished in person, online, or over the telephone for students’ convenience.
Additionally, the College is offering a 3-week online Winter Term session, running from December 15 through January 2. Select courses offered include traditional transfer classes such as Art Appreciation, U.S. History, and Survey of Statistics. These courses are curated to best serve the dual credit student or students who wish to make up credits in a short period of time over the holiday break. Enrollment in these courses do not qualify for the drawing.
The regular Spring session begins Monday, January 12, 2026. This semester runs through May 8. The Spring semester will also include late-starting courses which begin February 9, and Accelerated Session B 8-week courses which begin March 9, 2026.

Please note, DACC will be closed November 27-28 for the Thanksgiving Holiday, and December 24-January 2 for Winter Break. Offices will reopen January 5, 2026.
