Pixels & Pages: Winter Reading Challenge! From January 5 to February 16, log your reading in the Beanstack app or at danvillepubliclibrary.beanstack.org to unlock prizes for all ages. Make this winter unforgettable. Game On. Happy Reading! Rubber Ducky Readers: Join this fun Beanstack Challenge! For every 10 books read, the child will get a rubber duck, every 100 books equal a book, a sticker and a certificate, 1000 books equal a goody bag filled with a book, a sticker, a completion certificate, a stuffed animal, a blow-up rubber duck, etc. This challenge is for ages 0-6. Each month, explore a new curated collection of books, audiobooks, and comics on Hoopla, then pick one (or more!) to enjoy. Tuesdays = your creative time. Hang out and make cool stuff. No sign-up, no stress. Just show up and create something awesome! This week: Origami – fold, flip, and create amazing paper art. While supplies last. 3:30 – 4:30 PM in the 2nd Floor Teen Space. Ages 13-19. February 3: Tween It! Tuesdays. Fun programs for tweens each Tuesday. This week: 3D Pens. Get your tech on while you learn about 3D Pens. Use software to create your own 3D masterpiece! 5:00 PM in the Program Room. Ages 8-12. February 3: Wee Wigglers Story Time. Join us for action rhymes, stories, and songs for children ages 5 and under. Tuesdays at 10:00 am in the Program Room. February 4: Teen Writing Club. Come write, chill, and connect. No pressure – just good vibes, cool ideas, and a space to be creative. Journals and pens will be provided for our teen writers, along with writing prompts and snacks to fuel your mind. Every Wednesday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm in the 2nd Floor Teen Space. February 7: CREATE. Join us on the first Saturday of each month for CREATE! This month participants will be doing Heart Art, where they create their own design on a heart shaped tiny canvas. 1:00 PM in the Howard Rutan Meeting Room.
