Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden has released the identity of shooting victim who was found in a Danville yard on Saturday (April 25, 2020). She says the victim is 28-year-old Daniel W. Walter of Williamsport, Indiana. An autopsy was conducted in the case earlier today (Sunday).
Danville Police were called to the 1600 block of Ray Street shortly after 10 o’clock Saturday morning after a homeowner found Walter laying in his yard. Walter was dead when police arrived on the scene.
