Rubber Ducky Readers: Join this fun Beanstack Challenge! For every 10 books read, the child will get a rubber duck, every 100 books equal a book, a sticker and a certificate, 1000 books equal a goody bag filled with a book, a sticker, a completion certificate, a stuffed animal, a blow-up rubber duck, etc. This challenge is for ages 0-6. March 30: March Madness – Book Bracket! Every Monday in March, swing by our Facebook Pageor stop into the Library to cast your vote as we pit 8 popular books head‑to‑head! Which title will rise to the top? You decide! Bonus: In celebration of Women’s History Month, every featured book is written by a female author. Come join the fun and help crown our 2026 Book Bracket Champion!
March 31: Teen Crafternoons. Tuesdays = your creative time. Hang out and make cool stuff. No sign-up, no stress. Just show up and create something awesome! This week: Tiny Canvas – paint your mini masterpiece! 3:30 – 4:30 PM in the 2nd Floor Teen Space. Ages 13 – 19.
March 31: Tween It! Tuesdays. Fun programs for tweens each Tuesday. This week:Board Game Night. Play your favorite game with your friends. 5:00 PM in the Program Room. Ages 8-12.
March 31: Teen Universal Yums. Ready to snack your way around the world? Each month, teens can explore a different country through its unique treats, fun trivia, and music from that culture. It’s a flavorful, interactive experience you won’t want to miss! 4:30 – 5:30 PM in the 2nd Floor Teen Space. Ages 13 – 19.
March 31: Wee Wigglers Story Time. Join us for action rhymes, stories, and songs for children ages 5 and under – Tuesdays at 10:00 AM in the Program Room.
April 1: Publishing 101. Curious about how to publish your writing? Learn Publishing Basics from local author M.I.H. McCool, who brings over 20 years of experience in the publishing world! April 1: Teen Writing Club. Come write, chill, and connect. No pressure – just good vibes, cool ideas, and a space to be creative. Journals and pens will be provided for our teen writers, along with writing prompts and snacks to fuel your mind. Every Wednesday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm in the 2nd Floor Teen Space.
April 2: Lit Fit with Mandy. Join us Thursdays starting in April for a dance fitness series that’s as fun as your favorite book. All fitness levels welcome. Bring your water bottle and wear clothes that can handle your best moves! 3:00 – 4:00 PM in the Program Room.
April 4: “Constant Readers” Stephen King Book and Film Club. Join Constant Reader, Paul Strain, to discuss the works and impact of Stephen King. Meet the 1st Saturday of every other month, alternating with our Grady Hendrix Book Club.This month: discuss Carrie – the book, movies, and even the musical! 11 AM – 12 PM in the Program Room.
April 4: CREATE. Join us on the first Saturday of each month for CREATE! Have some eggstraordinary fun! Get creative! Decorate and color eggs using a variety of techniques. There is only one rule…HANDLE WITH CARE! Yes, you will be decorating and coloring real eggs! . Only 20 spots available; sign up on our website! 1 pm in the Howard Rutan Meeting Room. Ages 5-12
April 4: Senior Social Hour. Seniors, join us on the first Saturday of every month, for a chance to have coffee and play games together. 9:00 – 10:00 AM in the 2nd Floor Conference Room.
April 4: Story Time. Have a great time listening, interacting to stories and making a fun craft! Saturdays at 11:00 AM in the Children’s Department.
Adult/Teen Craft: Stop by the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor for a take & make craft! Starting April 1, Save the Bees with Wildflower Seedlings! While supplies last.
Coloring Contest for all ages: Color a picture and win a prize. Return entries by the end of the month. Entries will be displayed in the Children’s Room. Winners will be notified.
