April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. And on Wednesday, April 1st at 12 Noon, a “Pinwheel Planting Event” for the prevention of child abuse will take place at the Danville Public Library. Numerous local organizations, all part of the Vermilion County Child Abuse Prevention Coalition, are scheduled to attend.
Speaking will be Central Region Coordinator for the Prevention of Child Abuse in Illinois, Abby Behrens. State Rep Brandun Schweizer and State Senator Paul Faraci are scheduled to attend, with Senator Faraci scheduled to read a proclamation.
