No one was injured Friday afternoon (April 17th) as Danville Firefighters battled a house fire at 305 Park Street. Fire Chief Aaron Marcott says the alarm was received at 2:45 PM, and firefighters battled it for about 35 to 45 minutes.
AUDIO: Firefighters got on the scene; had heavy smoke and heavy fire involvement from the back section of the house. Firefighters knocked it down, and then did a quick search; and found nobody home.

Chief Marcott says the home was not regularly occupied, but was used periodically to cut hair. It is believed that a dryer fire caused the blaze, with a full investigation pending.
