Preparatory Fencing for tear down work was placed Monday (April 20th) in front of the old Chart Records and D.C. Fitness sites in Downtown Danville, along 125, 129, and 131 North Vermilion. Danville Director of Public Works Dave Ruwe says tear down work should begin later this week, moving from north to south, starting with the north end of Chart Records.
The City of Danville also has plans for tearing down the old Millikin Cleaners site at 605 and 615 North Vermilion, and the old Studio 25 site at 124 and 128 North Walnut. Ruwe says those projects will be done by different contractors, on different schedules.
